I read all the reviews before purchasing, but since I was not using it to hold components, we ordered. It came quickly, went together easily and was exactly what I was looking for, a book shelf to hold my books, projects, business papers, laptop, cross stitch and a misc. of other items. I could not have designed it better. It looks much more expensive than it is as it is made of wood, not pressboard. Thank you for a wonderful product.

We purchased this product to hold our new plasma TV as well as all of the electronic components -- all together, neatly hidden away. It is very attractive, though we had to repair a scratch on the front due to rough shipping. The most discouraging aspect of this purchase is that we did not read the reviews and were quite disheartened to find that four major electronic devices were too large to fit. Two inches wider and one inch deeper and all would have been well. It would be very helpful if the interior dimensions were listed as well as the exterior dimensions.

This bookcase is beautiful, and I put it together in an hour. Now it is the showcase piece in my home office.

All the wood is beautifully finished, not that cheap pressboard, and the hardware is of the highest quality. Not those cheap screws that strip under the lightest twist.

I really like the bookcase, and was quite pleased as I was assembling it. But when my components would not fit, I was bummed. The lip which overhangs the two side compartments made it impossible for my printer to fit, though the interior dimensions were adequate. It would be really a good idea to make the unit about 2 inches or more longer, so that components and other electrical office equipement could easily fit and be stylishly hidden away. I would recommend the unit not be thought of as a component rack, but rather for other storage.

This cabinet matches my other furniture well and it looks great in my living room. Shipping was EXTREMELY fast! However, it came in a million pieces and took forever to assemble. And the worst part is that once it was together the rails for the drawers were out of line so we had to take them off and reinstall them. I felt like it was easier to do this then take it apart and ship it back. I'm happy with how it looks but disappointed in how long it took to assemble and especially that it had a defect.

Shelves not wide enough.

The product is solid wood and good quality *BUT* the shelves are not wide enough. We were looking for something that would hold our cable box, dvr, dvd and home theater receiver (all are standard component size) none of which fit on the shelves. Returning the item is not really an option since we would have to disassemble, return in the original packaging and pay for shipping. Might be a nice unit for a bookshelf, but don't purchase if you want to use for standard size home theater components.

My tv stand is made of beautiful wood and looks great in my den. Compared to the $800.00 tv stands plus tax and shipping we got a great deal. It took my hubby all day to put it together. All the nuts and bolts were there but the instructions didn't say the holes were already drilled out and to other use parts sent to put it together.
The wood and the looks of my tv stsnd are awesome! I love it and it is a nice piece of furniture that we will have forever.
It was shipped on time and I can't say enough about how beautiful the wood is.Not pressed wood from WalMart that you thow away when you move.
My problem was needing a higher stand than what others offered and my tv stand is the right height and width. I would order from here again if I had another tv! lol
