This bookshelf is barely adequate - without modifications, it is incapable of supporting any number of books. Rather than return this product, I stabilized the shelves by drilling holes and insterting a peg to hold up the shelves. Without this modification, the bookcase is not capable of supporting a full shelf of paperback books - note that, in general, this product will only hold paperback books - hardcovers are too tall and deep.

This shelf was adequate for my need to store casette tape cases. I would not describe it as a "bookshelf" as only the smallest and lightest books would be able to be stored on it. It was more flimsy than I thought. It was also damaged in transit but I was able to use it anyway.

I had found this web site by accident, and really thought the prices were competitive. The free shipping was what pushed me. I recieved the bookcase withing 2 days. That was a great surprise! Building took about 20 minutes. No problem! Overall, I am very pleased with my choice and service I recieved.
